What’s Included?

Our Youth Program, designed for campers aged 5 to 11, offers a lively and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. This program balances fun and structured activities, fostering curiosity, confidence, and friendships, making it a summer full of memorable experiences.

AGE ELIGIBILITY: 5 to 11 year olds

Specific Training Activities (STAs)

Each week, campers have the option to dive into specialized interests, from Robotics and Science to Dance, Arts, and Multi-sport, ensuring a personalized and enriching experience.

Social Skills and Teamwork

Group activities help children build essential social skills like cooperation, empathy, and communication, setting the foundation for teamwork.

Building Confidence and Independence

Through trying new activities, children gain confidence by discovering their strengths and developing a sense of independence.

What a Day at Laurus Looks Like

At Laurus Summer Camp, no two days are ever the same! From exciting activities in the gym to outdoor adventures and creative workshops, our daily schedule is designed to keep campers energized, learning, and having a blast. Whether they're diving into sports, tackling STEM challenges, or getting creative with arts, every moment is filled with fun. Here's a sneak peek at a typical day at camp—get ready for an unforgettable summer!

7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

Early Care

During Early Care, campers enjoy supervised gym activities while checking in and settling into their homerooms before camp starts at 9:00 AM.

9:00 AM – 10:15 AM

Block 1

At 9 AM, campers join age groups for icebreakers on Monday and themed activities all week.

10:15 AM – 10:30 AM

Snack

Refuel Time! Campers take a quick break to hydrate, enjoy a snack, and apply sunscreen before returning to the day's activities!

10:30 AM – 11:45 AM

Specific Training Activities

Youth Campers spend 75 minutes daily in their chosen STA—like cooking, art, robotics, or sports—focusing on skills, teamwork, and fun.

11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Lunch & Free Play

Campers enjoy lunch; brought from home or hot lunch. then 30 minutes of Choice Time to relax and recharge.

12:45 PM – 2:00 PM

Block 2

Daily fun with sports, arts, games, and guest speakers—new adventures and teamwork every day!

2:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Block 3

Outdoor water games, camp songs, group activities, and fun challenges to stay active and enjoy with friends!

3:15 PM – 3:30 PM

Smoothies and Second Snack

Time to recharge! Campers enjoy refreshing smoothies and a second snack to refuel before wrapping up their day of fun-filled activities.

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Packing Up & Regular Pick-Up

Wrap-up time! Campers gather belongings and share their day’s highlights. At pick-up, our team ensures a smooth, safe check-out and brings your camper to you.

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Extended Care (Optional) Second Snack

Extend the fun with Extended Care! After camp, campers relax, play games, and enjoy extra gym time with friends. More fun and memories await!

 How are campers grouped in the Youth Program?

-Campers are grouped based on age and interest to ensure they enjoy age-appropriate activities and make friends easily. There is also the possibility to group your child with a friend and/or sibling.

Are STA's included in the program cost?

-Most STAs are included, though some, like Robotics and Arts, may have a small additional fee. We’ll provide details upon registration.

How do you manage safety during sports and outdoor activities?

- Safety is our priority. Our trained counselors ensure campers have hydration breaks, apply sunscreen, and are supervised closely during all activities.

Can my child switch STAs each week?

-Absolutely! Each week, campers can choose a different STA to explore a new interest or deepen skills in a favorite area.

What should my child bring each day to camp?

-Campers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lunch, a snack, and comfortable clothing suitable for active play. A complete checklist will be provided upon registration.
