Join our Leadership Program tailored for 12 to 14 year olds.

What’s Included?

Our Leadership Program, designed for campers aged 12 to 14, empowers young leaders by helping them develop essential life skills, confidence, and a passion for impacting their community. This program combines engaging activities with skill-building workshops, preparing campers to take on leadership roles in both school and life.

AGE ELIGIBILITY:  12 to 14 year olds

Confidence Building

Through hands-on projects, campers gain confidence by tackling real-life challenges and discovering their strengths as young leaders.

Development Workshops

Sessions on communication, teamwork, and problem-solving help campers gain practical skills for any leadership setting.

Team Building and Empathy

Through collaborative tasks and interactive discussions, campers learn the importance of empathy, listening, and motivating others.

What a Day at Laurus Looks Like

At Laurus Summer Camp, no two days are ever the same! From exciting activities in the gym to outdoor adventures and creative workshops, our daily schedule is designed to keep campers energized, learning, and having a blast. Whether they're diving into sports, tackling STEM challenges, or getting creative with arts, every moment is filled with fun. Here's a sneak peek at a typical day at camp—get ready for an unforgettable summer!

7:30 AM – 9:00 AM

Early Care

During Early Care, leadership campers check in, settle in homerooms, and enjoy supervised gym games until camp starts at 9:00 AM.

9:00 AM – 10:15 AM

Block 1

Leadership campers start at 9:00 AM with team-building and hands-on activities, growing confidence and leadership all week.

10:15 AM – 10:30 AM

Snack

Refuel Time! All campers take a quick break to hydrate, enjoy a snack, and apply sunscreen before returning to the day's activities

10:30 AM – 11:45 AM

Specific Training Activities

Campers dive into their passions—leading, creating, and exploring. STA time is all about doing what they love most!

11:45 AM – 12:45 PM

Lunch & Choice Time

Leadership campers enjoy lunch and a 30-minute break to relax, connect, and recharge for the afternoon.

12:45 PM – 2:00 PM

Block 2

Block 2 is all about building leadership through teamwork, creative projects, debates, journaling, and inspiring guest speakers.

2:00 PM – 3:15 PM

Block 3

Block 3 is all about outdoor fun and leadership! Campers take charge—leading games, planning challenges, and building skills while having a blast with friends.

3:15 PM – 3:30 PM

Smoothies and Second Snack

It’s smoothie time! Campers can lead the prep or just enjoy with friends—building teamwork while refueling for more fun.

3:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Packing Up & Regular Pick-Up

As the day ends, leadership campers pack up and reflect. At pick-up, we ensure a smooth check-out and happy stories to share!

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Extended Care (Optional) Second Snack

Keep the fun going after hours! Extended Care offers games, gym time, and chill moments with friends to end the day on a high note.

- Leadership children will participate in creating and running camp wide activities, Friday talent shows, smoothie time, fundraisers and much more.

What is the referral program?

-Yes! Leadership campers will still enjoy fun activities and traditional camp experiences, alongside their leadership-focused activities.

What should my child bring each day to camp?

Campers should bring a water bottle, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, and any personal items needed for active play. A detailed checklist will be provided upon registration.
