Here's a sneak peek at a typical day at camp—get ready for an unforgettable summer!
CITs settle in, organize belongings, and enjoy supervised activities, connecting with peers and mentors before the day begins.
CITs learn camp roles and values, start shaping their camp philosophy on Mondays, then shadow counselors and reflect throughout the week.
Time to refuel! CITs will take a short break to enjoy a snack, hydrate, and prepare for the rest of the day's activities.
CITs assist in leading STA activities, gaining leadership skills and mentoring younger campers.
CITs enjoy lunch and a 30-minute break, helping younger campers during mealtime and leading games for early finishers before recharging with friends.
CITs focus on activity planning and child care, including CPR certification and learning key counselor responsibilities through discussions and reflections.
Block 3 lets CITs lead activities, shadow counselors, and learn from guest speakers—gaining leadership skills and having fun!
CITs can lead smoothie prep or relax and enjoy one with peers—building teamwork and creativity while snacking.
As the day ends, CITs pack up, reflect on their day, share highlights, and help younger campers before smooth pick-up with staff assistance.
CITs can extend their day with Extended Care—relaxing with friends, joining group games, or helping around camp. A perfect time to unwind and connect.
